"Klinkend verbinden met de clown"
De clown raakt aan de essentie van wie we werkelijk zijn, vreugde, en is een authentiek en absurd wezen! Het leven van de clown gaat net als het onze door een emotionele rollercoaster en hij slaagt er in om hier op een spelende manier mee om te gaan.
De stem is rechtstreeks verbonden met het emotionele leven van de clown, en helpt hem om in alle vrijheid hier expressie aan te geven… en net in die expressie is de stem zo een onmisbare tool.
Tijdens deze driedaagse workshop zullen we verschillende oefeningen doen om je in contact te brengen met je eigen stem. Tijdens ademhalings- en bewegingsoefeningen, zingen en improvisaties laten we wat in ons leeft via onze stem vrijuit klinken.
Of je nu clown bent of niet, deze workshop biedt je waardevolle ervaringen om het emotionele spelende wezen dat je bent ruimte te geven om te bestaan!

The Courage to be
The word “courage” comes from a root that means “heart.” Through clowning and connecting to our playful spirit we can develop and sustain, in ourselves and each other, the heart to be who we truly are, to trust life and ourselves. “Taking heart” is a profoundly inward process, and an invitation for overcoming the fears that block us from being fully present in the “Here and Now.” This course establishes the ground for all our work and is an essential first step before going on to more advanced courses.
The workshop ‘Clown I,’ is the discovery of your clown's home base. It is the first of a series of three workshops. Essential in that phase are mirroring, listening, connecting and expressing the innerworld.

Embracing the unexpected
This course offers further practice of clowning with the focus on structure and relationship (such as the Elder-Younger structure).
At this level we practice responsiveness to and awareness of your partner on stage, your audience and the images, stories and characters that emerge during improvisation.
The teaching method will emphasize finding greater insights into the techniques of improvisation and performance, providing enough challenges and inspiration to take your understanding of this work forward.
Level 2 is a pre-requisite for Clown 3, Towards Performance and Social Clowning.

"Je eigen clown ontdekken is een persoonlijk avontuur" J.Lecoq
In deze workshop verkennen we spel als middel om dichter bij onszelf te komen. We vertrekken vanuit het beeld van de clown: een figuur die staat voor speelsheid, lichtheid, nieuwsgierigheid en het omarmen van het absurde. De clown herinnert ons aan een meer oorspronkelijke staat van zijn. Tijdens de workshop nodigen we die speelse energie opnieuw uit, en staan we stil bij wat zich in het moment aandient. We erkennen emoties zoals ze zijn en onderzoeken hoe onze verbeelding ons in beweging kan zetten.

nodigt je uit tot het herontdekken van je eigen ‘innerlijke clown’ — niet als typetje, maar als deel van jezelf. Via spelplezier maken we ruimte voor authenticiteit, humor, kwetsbaarheid en verwondering. Daarbij is er aandacht voor zowel de lichte als de schaduwkanten van wie we zijn.

We werken met eenvoudige spelvormen, stem- en lichaamswerk, improvisatie en reflectie. Dit gebeurt in een veilige setting, met respect voor ieders tempo en grenzen.
